BARRY & PATRICK have had a long-time friendship through their boys playing sports together. Barry spent four years with RISE Brewing Co., the ready-to-drink canned coffee company, where he created sales & marketing materials, along with package design. When Patrick said, “I’ll drink anything, including hose water,” Barry took that as a challenge to create a joke can. It turned into a night of “what if” conversations and into a full-blown business idea.

PATRICK‘s spent 25 years turning motivation into an art form — guiding over 1,000 athletes from high school hopefuls to college and pro players. He’s equal parts coach, hype man, and selling machine. Also known for The Matt and Pat Show, a comedic hip-hop duo that proves he can deliver the beats as well as cases of Backyard Lemonade. A big fan of belly laughs, baseball, and a well-earned beverage.

BARRY‘s been stirring up brands for over 30 years — from global giants to scrappy startups. He’s built campaigns, led creative teams, and run his own agency. A lifelong fan of humor, hoops, and happy hours, He believes great ideas (& cocktails) should never take themselves too seriously.

Hose Water Cocktails proudly operates out of a camping tent we bought in a thrift store. Not because we’re outdoorsy — it’s just the only office space that fit our budget and our childhood-level expectations. We had big dreams of a fancy startup loft with reclaimed wood and overpriced swivel chairs, but instead we’ve got two folding stools, a battery lantern, and a strong belief that billion-dollar ideas can absolutely be born in a tent that smells vaguely like last summer. Honestly, it’s on-brand. Hose Water started in the yard — why wouldn’t our headquarters be there too?
